SURFURZ WUT WUT!?

Okay, so here is some long overdue information about this whole surfing shinanigan.(if I spelt that right)

This is for all anthro roleplayers and artists who might be interested, and yes it is linked to Neo, though you don't /have/ to be. The Manos(Mano meaning shark in hawiian) are an elite surfing group, they are legendary throughout the world. They go on tours and compete in competitions, but lately they have been doing more personal surfing, and traveling around the world trying to find ultimate surf spots. They are lead by (though they technically don't really have a 'leader' my character, Arabead. Her four best buddies are Jak(Hijaks), Kie(Kisha), Lando(Orlando), and Pupule.

CHRACTERS PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO AUDITION FOR?
Arabead doesn't do this surfing and hanging out alone, she has an elite team of surfurs that compete with her, and are also her greatest friends. She has known every single one of these young adults since she was in the first grade, and they are inseperable and would do anything for her-so here they are.

Kiesha: Open
Ara's best friend, they are basically like sisters, almost exactly alike and is the only other person she can do girl stuff with, and vise versa, even though they both have reps for being tomboys. Kie and Ara were meant to be best friends from the day they met, which was on the second day of first grade when they nearly killed each other in a dangerous tricycle accident. They can confide in each other when things get rough when they can't talk about it with the guys. They are almost always seen together, just hanging out and chillin' at the beach and catching some waves. Kiesha is just a little ball of fluffy energy, she is a little boy crazy and causes drama, but has a very respectable reputation. she is on the small side, but don't let that fool you, she can snap your head off with one of her steamy glares. On the side she works at Her mothers jewelry shop where they make hawiian jewelry for tourists and natives, though she also has a part time job and help out at Ara's grandfather's surf shop with Ara.

He is the comic relief of the group, always cracking jokes and slacking off, he has trouble knowing when to stop, but once the Manos get a good yell at him he will get the point. As frustrating and overly laid back as he is, the Manos wouldn't be what they are today without him. In their darkest moments he keeps them from being too down in the dumps and he usuall;y knows what to say to cheer someone up. however he is continually pushing Lando's buttons and knows exactly how to piss him off. The two are constantly arguing, well Lando is doing most of the arguing and Jak never seems to know when to stop. though the two, deep down, are truly great friends, they know how to be brutally honest with one another. And last but not least, Jak is a skirt-chaser, yep he is a ladies man, he digs those chicks, but doesn't have an ounce of commitment in him other than to surfing. the Manos always see him with a different girl, every week it seems.

Orlando: Open
He is the more serious of the bunch, working hard to earn enough money to go to college and study architecture. He is very artistic, in both literature and visual, he is extremely talented. And as much as he wants to be an architect, it is hard for him to decide between that and surfing. He is somewhat of a tightass, but everyone in the group respects his opinion, and will listen to him, even Jak, sometimes. He likes precision and neatness and won't tolerate slackers. though every once in a while the group will bring out the best in him, and he can be a pretty fun guy. He enjoys drawing and writing, and hopes one day to be part of an architecture firm in New York, though he is constantly struggling with this choice or being with his beloved Mano friends. He knows the Manos can't be together forever...

Pupule: Open
He is the only actual Hawaiian native of the bunch, he is a great surfur and has a nack for making his own surf boards, he has made one for himself and others, which he sells for money to help put him through community college. He is extremely nice, almost too nice and sometimes lets people walk all over him, which causes him to be a little crazy sometimes, which is what his name means. Pupule sometimes goes a littel overboard with the craziness, but everyone ni the group tolerates him and loves him. He is also that awkward quiet nerdy kind of guys, who is totally oblivious to the harem of women that follow him around and swoon over him, he is obviously rather good looking. He spends a lot of his time reading, sometimes he will bring books out on his surf board, and he has personally made water proof covers for them. Though he happens to be naturally talented at surfing and doesn't need to try to hard, but does none the less. He is allergic to peanuts and dairy products.

They are called the Manos, which means sharks.

If you would like a character to role play with/draw/and talk about and what not just let me know. You can change the name of your character and make them look however you want, but their personalities should remain on those basic guide lines, though you can still tweak them and make them your own! So if you would like to be part of the surfing group you must send me a note with-

P.S.
If you would like to be part of the Manos, but do not see a character up here you like or would want to make one of your own, then just message me and we can discuss it. ^^ though I would like the group to not get above 8 characters, you can also make surf characters that are affiliated with, but not part of, the Manos.
